Geometrische Methoden in der Invariantentheorie
beschäftigen. Die Planung der ersten sieben Vorträge finden Sie hier.
In der zweiten Hälfte geht es dann darum, auf Grundlage dieser
Kenntnisse Brücken zu anderen Bereichen herzustellen. Im zweiten Teil geht es um Luna's Scheibensatz und
Bialynicki-Birula Zerlegung. Die Literatur nach der wir vorgehen finden Sie in der englischen Übersetzung, s.u.

The first half of the semester we will deal with Geometric Invariant Theory on the basis of the (german) book
Hanspeter Kraft:

Based on this knowledge we will build brigdes to other topics in the second half.
The second half will deal with Luna's slice theorem and the Bialynicki-Birula decomposition. Literature for the
